I recognized that rooftop! Bangkok is a must. I want to go back and also see Chiang Mai and do a volunteer job at an elephant sanctuary again!

First of all Janet…THANK YOU! I am so glad you took the time to read this very long (but very interesting post)! The Marriott is fantastic and in a really great location. I can’t imagine going to Thailand and NOT going to Bangkok. My next adventure in Thailand will definitely be Phuket. I know you would love the diving there.

What a great trip. We have flirted with the idea of traveling to Phuket for diving many times. I never considered Bangkok as anything other than a quick stopover. After this article I must put this part of the world back on my bucket list. We usually try to stay at Marriott facilities so it was nice to see your thoughts on the Marriott there. And the food looked amazing!
