After we were done (about 90 minutes) we revealed our masterpieces. It was hilarious and so much fun. Everyone wants to do it again (except maybe my hubs, but he’s willing to go along). 😉 Another family hit is make your own sushi night. I prep sushi rice, and then all the other ingredients (imitation crab sticks, cucumber, avocado, baby shrimp, pickled ginger, seaweed wraps, etc) and everyone preps their own ‘rolls’. Delicious and fun.

I am so sorry about Gus, your stepdad. I know what widowhood is like… still hurts after twelve years he’s been gone…but there can be life and living and joy at the same time..’; tell your mom.
It was my 4yo twin grandkids who saved me… I babysat and put on my brave to keep things light for them.
The fires sounded so very scary and devastating… I didn’t know anyone near them when it was happening. God blessed you all fir sure. Writing is healing and I’m so glad you wrote it. I love your adventures, but there is real life too. And to share the raw details with your readers speaks to your skilled writing and caring heart. We don’t share if we don’t trust readers.
